Researched in Asian Architecture
Choosing the right topic is quite the nerve wrecking for my group. we have gone to multiple question around the same topic,Chinese Climate. But in the end we do manage to come on an agreement. watching mulan always intrigue by the asian houses itself it was great to finally get answers. The courtyard and all of this small details make up the design of the 'Siheyuan'.
contextual Architecture study
Kengo kuma a master of blending his architecture with the surrounding. making a name for himself with the ASAKUSA CULTURAL Center which was regarded as a very contextual project. Paying a homage for his friend wang Shu he design the china academy museum with the context in mind especially the shape of the tea field that is the site itself.
It takes an expert to weave the site and the architecture into a piece of story i know this because i have been trying to do it for two semester now with no luck on finding the secret.
