Initiative.
This module intention is to expose students to the real community living in the real-life situation. While working together in a team of 7 for architectural, cultural enhancing activities in the communities of different socio-economic status and social groups.

Site Visit

We did a brief site visit on this week to gain our bearings on what to keep in mind to move forwards on the final product design.
CorkBoard
April 7, 2018 to April 8, 2018
We are required to send some people from our group to work and build a corkboard where the Sri Tioman 1 resident wrote their ideas to help us onĀ our project process.
Ideation

After finally getting some rough Ideas and cutting down smaller ideas. We decided as a group to proceed to make a signage on each floor as it was quite hard to know what floor are you in since there's no indication.
Sketching

Opting for the planter box signage was a great idea but not only that but the real plant can mask the smell that is happening on every floor.
Building
May 31, 2018
We managed to get dimensions for the project and we can smoothly proceed towards building the mockup. Starting from painting it and making the timber framing.
Variation
June 2,2018
The finishing touch is added to the timber framing and all potted plants are secured to the wire mesh. This is the day where the project was initially done for us.
D-Day
June 3, 2018
The presentation goes quite well and the feedback that was given highlight some of the things that past our mind. Like the 12 floor, the colour was too light that they can't see the numbers other than that it was all fine.
